Learn the #1 thing most social marketers do wrong and how you can create a loyal following that turn into sales.
Key Points To Take With You
- Lead by adding value to others.
- Build long-term relationships.
- Get others to promote how great you are.
- Remember the process everyone goes through in order to do business with you.
- People will know you, like you, trust you, do business with you, refer you. Repeat.
- If people don't know you, like you or trust you they won't do business with you.
- DON'T SPAM. SERIOUSLY!
- Don't tell people how great you, your business or products are.
Did you get value? Is so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook.

You are so right Alex. Lots of people are not creating the income of their dreams because they refuse to IN VEST IN Themselves and learn a better way to market. Lots of Facebook Groups are a Spam-Fest and its so sad to see. Social Media is simply long distance friendship…If yo cant say it to somebody at a “bbq” at first meeting you shouldn’t say it on social media as a convo starter or follow up. Awesome share!
Spot on Julie! I agree with you in that it’s a person’s refusal to invest in themselves why they never learn a better way. Isn’t that the same with any area in life? Eg. Refuse to invest in yourself and your relationships will never improve.
Thanks for the great comment 🙂
Me and many other newbies like me are making such silly mistakes on social media. I used to spam Facebook pages and groups, but it turned out that my fb account got blocked. I will consider these tips next time.
Glad you got something from it Sally! Yes, Facebook is cracking down on spammers big time. It’s way more effective when we can add value to others and make their lives better. A blog or doing vlog entries is a great way of building relationships online and creating a loyal following.
Stay tuned for more great internet marketing tips 🙂
Thank you for sharing this Alex, I totally Agree with you on this!!
You’re welcome Tessa! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I am following your blog for the past few weeks and it’s helped me a lot to establish my online business. You should write a book about how to become successful in life, it will be a great hit for sure! I will be the first one to buy it 🙂
Haha thanks Bob! And you’re onto me… I’m in the process of putting a book together. Stay tuned 🙂
This should be in a rule book for everyone that enters the industry
I absolutely agree Steve!
Hey Alex, right on! Do not enjoy seeing people push their products or business down your throught without even taking the time to get to know you or to try and do it in a suttle way! Great points
I agree Julie… especially on social media. I think direct advertising has its place but social media is all about getting to know people and people getting to know, like and trust you.
Hey Alex, TOTALLY agree. This is how to act on social media!
Absolutely Jeff! It’s all about building relationships 🙂
Great examples of what “spamming” feels like in a person-to-person situation. Doesn’t feel good. So why do it on the internet?
The relationship is elemental. And eventually, others will share you and your business. Like when someone asks if you know a good mechanic, or a good carpenter nad you give them a referral.
Spamming just doesn’t work and gives our business a bad name.
100% correct Carol! Spamming is so 90s and it doesn’t work anymore.
I agree with you. I’ve had people ask me for a recommendation and I’ve given a website address out. So yes, the same principle of relationships apply to the online and offline world.
